Current Project

Elaine is currently working on a book portraying her story of improbable redemption. She believes God speaks to each of us through circumstances, others, and the Bible. God spoke to her through times of darkness, years of therapy, and during the pursuit of a church home. Her stories resonate with anyone who has grappled with hurt and searched for pathways to peace and forgiveness.

She believes that God uses our stories to build a deeper relationship with Him and connect us to others.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

—2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV

Lessons I’ve Learned

God saw me then.

In my despair and anguish,

he sees me now.
